This service was created in 1997 at the initiative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Var and the General Council of the Var

Var Promotion and Economic Development Agency

Its primary mission is to assist companies wishing to set up in the Var by intervening, free of charge and confidentially, at different levels of their projects:

• Reception of company leaders
• Joint analysis of projects
• Selection and proposal of land and premises
• Aid, subsidy and partnership search
• Assistance
• Contact with financial, institutional and economic partners in the department
• Follow-up in project engineering

The Agency’s tools for promoting the economy of the Var department includes an alliance of company leaders and institutional bodies under the name of Var Image et Performance (VIP) , brochures available free on request (general brochure, sector-based brochures, etc.) a website and an observatory of business sites (Sites d’Activités varois2).
